I have always worked within the third sector, both in the UK and across Sub-Saharan Africa. My areas of expertise and interest are communications, campaigns and capacity building. I am passionate about empowering overlooked people to share their stories and create social change, and bring that passion to my work at Life Story Network and tide.
I have previously worked on issues such as global health, hunger, international development and gender equality. I am also a trustee for a women’s focused refugee and asylum seeker charity.
In my spare time i enjoy learning, and shouting, about politics, feminism and mental health awareness. I’m also an avid reader, board game player, tea drinker and museum attendee. I hold a degree in Religious Studies from Lancaster University.
