The Life story Network (LSN) is a Community Interest Company set up by a group of committed health, social care and business professionals and family carers, who understand the value of using life stories to improve the quality of life for individuals.
LSN hosts tide – together in dementia every day, a UK wide network for Carers and former Carers of people with dementia. Our initial focused regional work in England is to cover the Liverpool City and Manchester City Regions and this has been funded by the Big Lottery – Accelerating Ideas Programme. In addition, we have recently embarked on a four year programme of work to establish tide in Scotland, which is funded by the Life Changes Trust.
We are now actively recruiting for a Communications & Fundraising Manager
Full time 35 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum dependent on experience
This post will be a three year contract. However there is the potential to extend dependent on achievements from this initial phase of our tide – together in dementia every day national network.
A member of the Management Team, you will work closely with the Business Development Manager (England), Business Development Manager (Scotland), Chief Executive and Operations Manager.
This is a brand new, exciting role, if you are a passionate & proactive communications professional; able to communicate complex issues in an engaging and accessible manner then this could be the job for you.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, the ideal candidate will have significant experience in producing and managing high quality communications and developing a visible and meaningful organisational profile, alongside a proven track record in delivering a broad individual fundraising portfolio.
