About Clarissa

I am a dementia care researcher at the University of Liverpool and have been working in the field for over 10 years. My research primarily focuses on health inequalities in dementia care and ageing, trying to remove barriers to accessing the right care at the right time. I am leading on national and international research, and incredibly passionate about public involvement. Running the Liverpool Dementia & Ageing Research Forum and the science podcast The Ageing Scientist, my goal is to raise awareness of dementia and enable discussion between people working in the field and those affected by dementia.
