Chief Executive steps down

Today Anna Gaughan announced that she was stepping down from her role as Chief Executive of Life Story Network (LSN) and tide with immediate effect. This decision was reached by mutual agreement and in the best interests of everyone involved. Anna said to the team

“As some of you may already know, I am still recovering from a severe spinal injury sustained in a cycling accident last autumn. Stepping down will enable me to concentrate fully on my continued recovery.  It is also important that for the next crucial stage in the development of LSN and tide there is strong leadership and the Board of Trustees of tide will ensure that arrangements are put in place to achieve this”.
She went on to say
“Over the years, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with an incredibly diverse range of friends, colleagues, partners as well as carers, and former carers. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your invaluable support. All of our carers and former carers are true leaders in their own right and will continue to strengthen the voices of all carers of people with dementia and ensure that they are heard. For my part, I am so proud to have contributed to this and know that there is a strong legacy in place for others to continue and grow as a new chapter opens up.  I would like to wish tide and LSN continued success for the future”.
The Board of Trustees and staff wish Anna well in her continued recovery and for the next phase of her career.
