How one tide member made a difference

Natasha's mum was diagnosed with young-onset dementia at the age of 56. She fought to get a diagnosis as her mum was considered too young to have dementia. After joining tide Natasha attended the Carer Development Programme .This gave her the skills, confidence and knowledge to challenge what she was being told, Natasha went on to set up her own campaign But Alzheimer's is for Old People

Natasha's mum went into a care home. When Covid 19 hit the care homes prevented visitors. Natasha was unable to see her mum and provide the care and love she needed. Natasha went from seeing her mum every day to having only 3 x 30 min visits in 470 days. Natasha started a petition to introduce Anne's Law.
