Join us as we launch our Scottish Rural Dementia Carers Report. 

During the event, you will hear more about the report’s findings from our recent project looking deeper into the lives of carers of people with dementia living in Scotland and the numerous challenges they face. As of yet, there has been little research on how caring within a rural community affects people.

To truly value unpaid carers, we must look widely at all the issues from across the UK (including smaller, more remote communities) and understand the intricacies of every individual’s unique circumstances. We believe carers living in rural communities deserve an equal seat at the table and their voices would be a valuable contribution to the conversation about improving dementia support and services.
