You can now access our report on how tide supported carers of people with dementia during the lockdown in the South Asian Community. As said by Carer Involvement Lead Shahid Mohammed,

"We had to be creative in how we rose to the challenge during lockdown to continue our work of raising awareness of dementia and supporting our BAME carers"

tide initially set up a Dementia Dekh Bhaal South Asian carers WhatsApp group to allow carers to share their experiences, seek peer advice and support and access key information in a safe space.  The use of WhatsApp meant other languages were added through the phone’s language settings.
