tide's Good News - December 2024
Great news! tide has been awarded a grant by the Dementia Trust to start some peer support groups for carers of younger people with dementia on Merseyside. We'll be working with the Alzheimers Society, who have already started groups for younger people with dementia, and will begin in Liverpool and Sefton. If you are looking after someone with dementia under the age of 65 in the area, please get in touch at carers@tidecarers.org.uk. We'd love to hear from you and learn about your ideas of what will work best. We want to demonstrate the benefits of peer support and use the evidence as the basis for a bigger National Lottery bid next year.
