We are not an army
We can not fight wars
We try and cry to make things right
But sometimes we're just too tired to fight.
We strive, not thrive at all the crap
We want to just lie down and nap
We once were strong but life stepped in
We are tired, so tired but won't give in.
We honour our partner, our parent, child or friend
We will be with you right to the end
But sometimes, just sometimes
We want to shout loud
For value, recognition respect at all times
Make us proud!
