[/av_textblock] [av_textblock size='' font_color='' color='' custom_class='' admin_preview_bg=''] An exciting opportunity has arisen; tide, together in dementia everyday are looking for a dynamic Regional Carer Involvement Lead to job share on a fixed term contract (6 months) covering Edinburgh, the Lothians, Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders joining our team to help us continue strengthening and increasing the impact of tide in Scotland. Location: Home based with access to hot desking opportunities as required Salary: £25,000 (pro rata) Hours: 14 hours – 2 days (days are flexible but should compliment other job share staff member) Duration: Fixed Term (6 months) Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), flexible working, pension, Medicash option, staff development and training. Closing date: Monday, 17th February 2020, 10am Interview date: Week beginning 24th February 2020 The Role Working closely with a wide range of partners at local community level, you will have a key role in identifying and recruiting carers and former carers to tide; ensuring that their development needs are identified and met through our unique Carer Development Programme as well as creating and supporting opportunities for carers to influence and create change Our work ethos and values appeal to people, who are passionate, values driven, self-directed and flexible team players, who have great interpersonal skills, learn quickly, and relish the opportunity to deliver real social change for people who are caring for or have cared for someone living with dementia. About You As Regional Carer Involvement Lead, you will:- Have experience of caring and or understanding of dementia and the emotional and practical challenges families experience.
- Be adept at developing and maintaining successful partnerships and building strong external relationships
- Have a ‘hands on’, ‘can do’ attitude to raising the awareness and impact of tide
- Knowledge of how the health, social care and voluntary sectors work in Scotland
